53 place rise for Qatar
Creditable wins for Qatar over higher ranked China PR and Kuwait and a narrow defeat against a much higher ranked Japan, helped them to a 7 point rise in their ranking resulting in a 53 place climb to 45.
A string of wins for Honduras sees them rise from 60th to 28th. Iran also did well with a climb from 56th in December to 44th.
Japan fall to 22nd with a series of poor results against lower opposition.
Korea Republic also slipped a few places though they did recover some ground with a technical draw against Japan (Japan won the penalty shoot out). Although they only lost 3 points in the month this cost them 25 places dropping from 27th to 52nd.
